About the Author

Well, I have a bit of hesitancy about what to write here. My life is frequently mundane, at least of late.

I am a mother of 3 , and right now, I work 2 jobs to make ends meet. In my spare time, aside from writing poetry, I review and comment on other people’s poems on a website dedicated to metalheads across the globe. Yes, I quite enjoy listening to my music. It helps sustain me after a hard day at work, and diffuses the negative energy that tends to build up during the day. I also enjoy blues and classical music.

A few years ago, I started 2 short novellas (not at the same time, mind you), but have yet to be able to finish them. Life’s tendency to completely change direction and cause one’s chosen destiny to fall into chaos took over, and this forced me to seek out a 2nd job that did not leave room for the time or the inspiration to fulfill my passion. Most of the poems you will see here were written several years ago, but recently, due to the sudden realization that… life is too short to put off my passions, I have begun to write again. This is not always an easy feat, but it is well worth the effort, at least in my humble opinion.

I hope to one day be able to finish those novels, and a few more to boot. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy the poetry.
